By making the switch to reusable items you can make a difference, you are saving money over the long run, and you are reducing plastic wastes that make it into the landfills. Plus, you are reducing your contact with the harmful toxins that can be found in disposable pads, yuck to VOCs, phthalates, and plastic!
According to thegoodnesswell website, "4–25 reusable menstrual pads can replace... 5,000 to 15,000 disposable pads..."
So go ahead and make that change, you difference maker!

Care:
You can research the best method for yourself, but this is how I do it,
1. After use, rinse out in sink or soak in small container of water. If done immediately after switching pads I've never had a staining problem.
2. Wash in laundry with regular load of laundry.
3. Put in dryer or air dry. I prefer to hang out to dry, but make sure they are completely dry before putting away.
*Avoid fabric softeners (they actually diminish ability of fabrics from soaking in fluids)
* I have been "testing" these out on myself for 6 months now and haven't had any issues or leakage. So, I stand behind my products, or should I say stand with them. Literally I'm standing up with them on right now.
* Anyway, why would I make these products when I clearly have a business for children? Well, the answer is simple, "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children." And I want to ensure I'm doing the best I can to leave less "junk" for my kiddos and their kiddos when I'm gone.
